Data-Driven Marketing
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 16, 2026
1. Our Data Philosophy
[App Name] is built on a "Zero-Storage" principle for primary sensitive data. We do not host or own the student records, assignments, or files provided by users or Server Owners. All primary data collection and long-term storage are managed by Google Classroom.
2. Data We Process (The Knowledge Base)
To provide automation, the Service accesses data within a designated Google Drive folder provided by the Server Owner.
- Usage: This data is used as the basis to generate quizzes, ask questions, and provide automated answers to student inquiries.
- Anonymization: Data extracted from the Google Drive folder for processing is handled anonymously within the application to protect the privacy of the source material.
3. Limited Retention of Quiz Data
To enhance the user experience and provide progress aggregation, the Service may temporarily save specific quiz-related data.
- Retention Period: This data is kept only for the duration of the active course or academic term.
- Deletion Policy: All saved quiz and aggregation data is permanently deleted at the end of the course and is not kept past that timeframe.
4. Information We Access (Ephemeral Data)
The Service processes the following "in-transit" data to function:
- Discord Metadata: Server and Channel IDs to route notifications and responses correctly.
- Authentication Tokens: OAuth tokens required to verify your identity with Google. These are used strictly to facilitate the requested automation and are handled according to industry security standards.
5. Data Security
We utilize industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit between Discord and Google. Because we do not maintain a permanent database of your educational content, the risk of a data breach on our end is significantly minimized.
6. Third-Party Data Controllers
Since the primary data is stored on Google’s servers, Google acts as the Data Controller. Users wishing to exercise their rights (access, correction, or deletion of primary educational data) should do so through their Google Classroom or Google Workspace settings.
7. Contact & Changes
We reserve the right to update this policy to reflect changes in our automation processes. Continued use of the Service following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
